Esports Entertainment Group Inc., a company licensed to the online gaming and betting industry, has entered into a multi-year partnership with Twin River Worldwide Holdings. The deal will result in the launch of Esports Entertainment’s mobile sports betting system in the state of New Jersey, in the United States.
While Twin River obtains the regulatory approvals necessary to complete the acquisition of Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. With the purchase, the company will have access to three skins for online sports betting in the region, leading to the objective of this partnership.
“We are excited about working with Twin River. We will bring mobile sports betting to the New Jersey market, ”said Grant Johnson, the CEO of Esports Entertainment Group.
Johnson added: “When we completed our Nasdaq process earlier this year, we already intended to expand our operations in the United States. With this association, we are fulfilling that objective ”.
George Papanier, the president and CEO of Twin River Worldwide Holdings, also made a point of commenting on his company’s new collaborative work.
“Esports Entertainment will be a great addition to our diverse partnerships with sports betting leaders around the world. Since we currently work with betting in Rhode Island, Colorado, Delaware and Mississippi, ”said George Papanier
Twin River’s CEO also stressed the importance of the agreement for the local market. “Bringing this new and unique offering to the Atlantic City market with a big game partner is one of the many exciting changes that we have in store for the region in the coming months,” he concluded.
