Sky Betting and Gaming (Sky Bet) announced that it has closed an agreement for horse and greyhound racing with the supplier Sports Information Service (SIS).
The agreement provides for the supplier to provide Sky Bet with race content through its “Watch And Bet” system, which allows bettors to follow the races without having to place bets before the event.
From this partnership, Sky Bet players will have access to exclusive live broadcasts of horse and greyhound racing. The combination of international SIS horse competitions will allow Sky Bet to expand its offer.
In addition to greyhound racing in the UK and Ireland, Sky players can now watch content from Latin America, Mauritius, the United Arab Emirates and across Europe.
Paul Witten, SIS ‘commercial director, said: “We are very excited to have closed this deal with one of the UK’s most successful online operators. And, we look forward to providing Sky Bet players with an engaging betting experience through our premium horse and greyhound racing service. ”
Witten said: “The Watch and Bet model is becoming increasingly important in today’s online sports betting market that seeks to increase engagement with its players.”
Recalling that SIS has been operating in the global betting industry for more than three decades, providing online and retail operators with betting content. The company also provides operators with horse and greyhound solutions, such as data, live images, prices and other products.
