Playbetr has signed a three-year deal with French football giant Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), becoming its official bookmaker in Latin America. Argentine Lionel Messi’s new team has turned its attention to the region, aiming to increase its fan base
“We are delighted to welcome Playbetr into the Paris Saint-Germain family as the first official betting sponsor in Latin America,” announced Paris Saint-Germain Sponsorship Director Marc Armstrong.
Armstrong continued: “The brand will be an ideal sponsor for the club and together we can do a lot to further engage our rapidly growing fan base in Latin America. The strong appeal of Paris Saint-Germain and their players in the region makes the club is the perfect way for Playbetr to develop its brand”.
The club and Playbetr want to gain relevance in Brazil
Playbetr will benefit from the growing popularity of PSG in Latin America, something that was accentuated with the recent arrival of the Argentine ace, and will contribute with a strong presence, mainly in the Brazilian market. After all, the French club also has the highlight of the Brazilian team, Neymar.
Playbetr’s marketing director, Marvin Jones, commented: “We are proud to present our partnership with the most charming and important club in the world. In football, as in betting, performance is paramount.”
Jones added: “Paris Saint-Germain has built a solid reputation for excellence on and off the field and we look forward to extending the brand’s influence around the world.”
The company will benefit from Digital Overlay technology at PSG’s home, the Parc des Princes, which will allow advertisements to be displayed on mirrored LED screens across the field. The bookmaker will also be able to take advantage of VIP seats at the club’s home games.
In addition, the brand intends to promote “non-buyable experiences” for its employees and customers, who will receive special attention with the best odds for betting on games and with special promotions developed in association with Paris Saint-Germain.
