PointsBet has signed a three-year extension to expand its content and marketing relationship with the PGA TOUR.
As the official betting operator of the PGA TOUR, PointsBet’s live betting integrations will be featured in linear and streaming broadcasts on the GOLF and Peacock channel. And as NBC Sports’ official sports betting partner, there are plans to include operator content on NBC’s broadcast in the near future.
The agreement also calls for the operator to become the “Official Free-to-Play” provider of the PGA TOUR, a soon-to-be-released game designed to increase fan engagement with live gaming and weekly prize distribution.
Norb Gambuzza, PGA TOUR Senior Vice President of Media and Gaming, commented: “We are excited to continue working with PointsBet to create innovative free games and sports betting products for PGA TOUR fans”
“PointsBet golf products continue to experience tremendous growth, and your support of our game with Low6 will give our fans the option to experience exciting games in a free service environment,” concluded Gambuzza.
A key step for PointsBet
PointsBet will continue to have access to the PGA TOUR footage library for use in pre-match and post-match betting programs, videos and highlights, while the operator also gains rights to advertise on TOUR’s broadcast and media platforms.
PointBet USA CEO Johnny Aitken stated: “Expanding our relationship with the PGA TOUR is a critical step in providing fans and viewers with the odds and content integrations that PointsBet users have been asking for.”
“Together, with our partners at NBC Sports, we are at the crossroads of golf broadcast and quote integration, an exciting time for punters and viewers,” concluded Atiken.
