Wyoming has become FanDuel’s latest destination, making its sports betting app available to punters in the state.
The sports betting brand, owned by industry giant Flutter Entertainment, has further expanded its presence in North America, securing access to the 10th largest US state by area, albeit the least populous.
As a result, Wyoming may seem like an odd next step for FanDuel, which recently became the first operator in New York to pass the $1 billion mark in betting revenue.
But Wyoming, which launched online sports betting last September with two bookmakers, DraftKings and BetMGM, is a considerably smaller market.
