This Wednesday, the 24th, Major League Soccer (MLS) announced that it has extended its agreement with Electronic Arts (EA), keeping the game market developer as an official partner of the North American soccer league.
It should be noted that the extension of the partnership also includes an electronic sports championship, the eMLS. The renewal of the commitment shows that EA Sports continues to believe in the popularization of the sport in the United States.
In addition, MLS will continue to license its properties to EA Sports in addition to FIFA 23, the latest edition of the football game to be jointly developed with FIFA. In future releases, the title will be marketed as EA Sports FC.

The new, long-term contract covers in-game integration, allowing fans to utilize their favorite Major League Soccer teams, athletes and stadiums. Regarding the eMLS competition, the partnership includes opportunities for fan engagement and marketing campaigns.
