A few days after winning the first individual world cup, Brazil won the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Cecilia from Minas Gerais won the FAMEHERGAME, a championship between teams promoted at FIFA headquarters, located in Switzerland, in an invitational way.
With the achievement, the Brazilian player still earned a trip to accompany the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. “I am really happy. I’ve loved football forever. So this opportunity for me is very special”, declared the Brazilian.
All teams guaranteed at this year’s Women’s World Cup have nominated at least one competitor to participate in the competition. Brazil, in turn, was represented at the World Cup by streamer Thata and with Cecilia, who had won the first individual women’s World Cup in the FIFA franchise a week ago.
“Cecilia did it! She showed an incredible level of play throughout the tournament and is its FAMEHERGAME bootcamp champion,” reads the FIFA post below.

After securing a place in the group stage with four wins and a draw in five clashes, the Brazilian overcame all opponents until the decision. In the quarterfinals, Cecilia beat Moroccan Jeanglobard 7-0 on aggregate. In the semifinal, the Portuguese Raquel “Raquelty” won by 4 to 0 on the sum of the scores.
