The iGaming Brazil portal exclusively interviewed Betsat’s CMO, Javier Del Águila, about his arrival in the Brazilian market after many years working in Europe.

Javier Del Águila, a businessman with more than 24 years of experience in iGaming administration and industry, explained how the platform works, which is already successful in Europe, and which is now conquering the Latin American market. In the interview he told us his story, preparation for the Brazilian market, marketing strategies and future plans.

Betsat is a sports betting site and online casino that arrived in Brazil less than 6 months ago and already has a huge number of players. His goal, he says, “is to provide exciting experiences with state-of-the-art technology. Variety of games, the best odds and fast support form the basis of our entertainment platform.”

Betsat is operated by Poligon Entertainment N.V., authorized and regulated by the government of Curacao.

iGaming Brazil – How was Betsat created?

Javier Del Águila – Betsat was created more than 10 years ago, it started in Europe. Our plans have always been to create a worldwide brand, so we chose a name that would be easier to remember in any language. During this time, Betsat has managed to offer its members high quality services and cutting-edge technology. We are always striving to provide new and exciting features. Betsat is a brand licensed in Curaçao, highly focused on player safety and security.

iGaming Brazil – How did you prepare to enter the Brazilian market?

Javier Del Águila – The Brazilian market is competitive and quite challenging. We are using a state-of-the-art casino and sports betting platform, offering favorite games for our players as well as competitive odds for sports lovers. We are also preparing an innovative custom design that would provide a pleasant experience for our customers. The team behind our brand is not only passionate about coming up with these new creative ideas, but also has a great track record of executing projects with agility. We believe that we will succeed in the market.

Javier Del Águila – Our main verticals are sports betting, casino and live casino, with a secondary vertical, eSports. The brand also has a wide range of online casino games from leading game providers and progressive jackpots. Our sportsbooks offer some of the highest odds on the market, as well as a variety of markets for people to bet on.

iGaming Brazil – What are Betsat’s differentials in relation to the competition?

Javier Del Águila – As we said, Brazil is a competitive market, but we believe that we will bring innovation with our tailor-made projects.

iGaming Brazil – What marketing strategies do you plan to use? Influencers, sponsorship of football teams?

Javier Del Águila – We are planning a 360 degree marketing strategy, using all channels available to us.

iGaming Brazil – What are the expectations regarding the regulation of the betting market in Brazil?

Javier Del Águila – With the rapid growth of the betting market in Brazil, we believe that the regulations will create a safer and fairer environment for both operators and players. This reduces risks for both sides and puts pressure on operators to provide a platform that strictly adheres to the requirements. And we are fully prepared for that.
