Global eSports organization Gen.G continues to grow its presence in motorsport and further strengthen the link between racing and gaming with its latest partner, NASCAR. Kicking off the deal, Gen.G worked alongside NASCAR to host The Pit Stop, developed by Mobil 1 and NASCAR, at the Boston Major of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS).

Fans were able to meet the Gen.G Mobil 1 Racing RLCS team and Gen.G Mobil 1 Racing creators Demar “Dazerin” Williams, MJ “Widow” Austyn, Nathan “Stanz” Stanz, and earn limited gift items for participating . The Pit Stop was free to the public.

The partnership will also see Gen.G Mobil 1 Racing creators Dazerin and Stanz taking part in NASCAR races this season, where they will produce content highlighting their experiences.

They will explore activities around a race, show you the true fan experience at home and all that NASCAR has to offer when you watch the race in person. Dazerin and Stanz will highlight the intersection of the racing and gaming communities in racing with fans at the event and the innovative experiences the sport offers around its events.

“Since joining Rocket League last year, we’ve wanted to expand our presence with everything related to cars and motorsports, especially with the reception we’ve had surrounding the success of both Rocket League teams and our partnership with Mobil 1” , said Martin Kim, head of partnerships for Gen.G.

“The game is a connector and Nascar shares that belief. Together, we can explore opportunities that resonate with all audiences and communities.”

The partnership reinforces NASCAR’s commitment to the Rocket League community, where it has launched the NASCAR Fan Pass every year since 2021. Last year, NASCAR hosted collegiate Rocket League tournaments at its tracks and sponsored NASCAR Rocket League 351.

“At NASCAR, we believe that games bridge the gap between the virtual and real worlds, fostering a deeper connection to our sport,” said Nick Rend, Managing Director of Games and eSports at NASCAR.

“Gen.G shares the belief that gaming is a connector. We are excited to continue our Rocket League commitment with Gen.G, hosting The Pit Stop at the RLCS Boston Major with them and Mobil 1. We also look forward to working with Gen.G to explore new opportunities for our fans to join. engage with NASCAR and bring the sport to new audiences.”
