Brazilians have good reasons to bet on the lottery this Thursday, 9th. Two of the main current Loterias Caixa titles, Timemania and Mega-Sena, have recently accumulated and are drawing millionaire values. But, how do you bet?
Mega-Sena
The six dozen of the Mega-Sena contest 2,654 will be drawn, starting at 8pm (Brasília time), at Espaço da Sorte, located at Avenida Paulista, nº 750, in the city of São Paulo, with live broadcast on the social networks of the Loterias Caixa on Facebook and on the Caixa YouTube channel.
If a player wins the main bracket prize alone and invests the entire amount in savings, they will receive R$61,700 in income in the first month.
Therefore, the prize is accumulated at R$10 million.
Bets can be placed until 7pm (Brasília time) at lottery outlets accredited by Caixa, across the country or online.
According to Caixa, the simple game with six tens marked costs R$5.
Timemania
Also this Thursday, Timemania will draw the prize of R$24.2 million for the 2013 contest.
The modality is a specific prediction product in which the bettor chooses ten numbers among 80 available and a favorite team among 80 teams.
Seven numbers and a favorite team are drawn. Therefore, whoever matches three to seven numbers or the favorite team wins.
The bet costs R$3.50.
The last numbers drawn were 17 – 38 – 45 – 47 – 49 – 65 – 80. While the favorite team was Brasil de Pelotas, from Rio Grande do Sul.
According to the Loterias Caixa website, Timemania draws are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, starting at 8pm.
How to receive the lottery prize?
The winner can receive their prize at any accredited lottery outlet or at Caixa branches.
If the gross prize is greater than R$ 2,112.00, payment can only be made at CAIXA branches, upon presentation of original proof of identity with CPF and original and winning bet receipt.
However, amounts equal to or above R$10,000.00 are paid within a minimum period of two business days from presentation at a Caixa branch.
