The CEO and co-founder of Pay4Fun, Leonardo Baptista participated in the last edition of ICE London on English soil between February 6th and 8th. He spoke with the iGaming Brazil portal about this new moment in Brazil with a regulated online betting market.

Regarding the world’s main industry fair, the executive said: “ICE London is as always fantastic. It’s the most important event of the year.”

“Special edition because it is the last one in London, but also because of Brazil’s current situation with regulations and expectations for future ordinances”, he added.

What to expect from Pay4Fun in 2024?

Regarding Pay4Fun’s plans, Leonardo Baptista pointed out that the company is reaping the results of the intense work of recent years.

“With the regulation and the requirement that only payment and financial institutions be authorized by the Central Bank, many operators are knocking on our door saying they want to prepare to enter Brazil.”

He went further: “Brazil is the promised land. Taking the market away from the United States, everyone wants to come to Brazil. Nobody has the real size of the market, but I think Brazil will consolidate itself as the second largest in the world”.

With so many developments in the national territory, the company chose to hold off on its expansion plans for Latin America for the second half of the year.

“We are very focused on Brazil. Pay4Fun already has a banking code, we are on the path to becoming a bank and offering accounts to our customers. The idea is to work a lot on Open Finance this year”, he concluded.
