The city of Rio de Janeiro will host, between the 5th and 7th of March, the SBC Summit Rio, one of the main international events in the betting sector. In this edition, the conference arrives in Brazil to discuss the gaming and betting market in the country.
Big names in the sector will be present at exhibitions, lectures and networking spaces. Therefore, an increase in companies’ market knowledge is expected, through the creation of an environment conducive to the exchange of experiences.
With sessions translated into Portuguese and English, the conference expects to receive more than 3 thousand professionals from the sector, in addition to approximately 900 operators and 100 speakers.
Therefore, the event’s agenda includes addressing topics relating to issues such as regulatory structures, localized products, sponsorships, data rights, among others, with exhibitions on the 6th and 7th.
As with other prominent events in the industry, such as ICE London 2024, Casa de Apostas will once again count on the participation of its management team.
Casa de Apostas was the first company to sponsor a football club
The company’s COO, Hans Schleier highlighted the importance of attending what will be the first major conference on the topic in Brazil, after the approval of the law that regulates sports betting on national soil, in December 2023.
“Large events like this bring together a huge amount of know-how and possibilities to share experiences. This is something that is extremely important for the development of the sector in Brazil”, said Hans Schleier.
“It is essential that we remain up to date with market knowledge and attentive to the main trends, both nationally and internationally”, he added.
Casa de Apostas was the first company in the betting sector to sponsor football clubs in Brazil. The company has been increasingly expanding its participation in the national market in 2024.
Thus, for this year, the company signed an agreement for the naming rights of Arena Fonte Nova. The place was renamed “Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova” for four seasons.
In addition, the company also secured other contracts, such as the acquisition of sponsorship quotas for the Copa do Nordeste broadcasts on SBT.
