Grupo Globo recently announced with KTO, a bookmaker, and other brands to sponsor the broadcasts of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as revealed by Meio&Mensagem.
With the addition of Piracanjuba, the conglomerate adds six companies already confirmed, including Ambev, Claro, Netshoes, Nivea, XP Investimentos and, of course, KTO.
It is important to highlight that the contracts of these brands vary in terms of scope and coverage. Ambev, Claro, Nivea and Piracanjuba signed agreements for open TV, guaranteeing them exposure through vignettes, a feature at the opening of broadcasts and during commercial breaks on TV Globo.
Furthermore, these brands will have visibility on GE, Globoplay and will participate in actions on social media via ViU, Globo’s digital social media unit.
On the other hand, KTO, Netshoes and XP Investimentos signed contracts for closed TV. These brands will also be highlighted in vignettes, at the beginning of broadcasts and in commercial breaks, but on Sportv.
Furthermore, just like open TV brands, they will have a presence on GE, Globoplay and will participate in actions on social media via ViU.
Although there are already confirmed sponsors, Globo continues to negotiate with other potential advertisers.
The Paris Games are scheduled to take place from July 26th to August 11th, with some events starting a few days earlier.
KTO recently signed a partnership with Chapecoense
Recently, KTO was also announced as a new sponsor of Chapecoense. The company’s brand is already appearing on the shoulder blade region of the alviverde t-shirt.
It is worth noting that KTO’s first appearance in the club’s uniform occurred in the clash with Figueirense, valid for the 10th round of the Catarinense Championship.
With the new sponsorship contract – which is valid until February 2025 –, Verdão and KTO intend to promote a series of activations in order to highlight the partnership between the brands and, mainly, to value the club’s fans.
