Brazil faces Spain this Tuesday (26), at 5:30 pm (Brasília time), at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, in Madrid. At bookmakers, the Spanish are considered favorites for the clash, despite the recent defeat to Colombia.

The Spanish defeat to Colombia, which ended a run of eight games without losing, did not reduce the team’s favoritism for the game against Brazil.

Even with Brazil’s historic advantage in duels between the two teams, the Spanish continue to be seen as the favorites by bookmakers.

Behind the scenes, the Spanish team is facing a crisis, with investigations into irregular contracts with Saudi Arabia. For this reason, two executives were fired and the former president of the Federation, Luis Rubiales, is among those investigated.

On the other hand, Brazil had a good start under the command of Dorival Júnior, beating England 1-0, with a goal from Endrick. Furthermore, the young Palmeiras striker joined a select list of youngest players to score for the Brazilian national team.

Despite the victory against the English, the Brazilian team came from a sequence of four games without winning, occupying sixth place in the South American qualifiers, eight points behind leader Argentina.

In the history of clashes between Brazil and Spain, the Brazilian team has the advantage, with five wins in nine games, in addition to two draws and two Spanish victories.

The last confrontation between the teams was in 2013, in the final of the Confederations Cup, with Brazil winning 3-0.
