Parimatch, a sports betting company, confirmed to the Meu Timão portal that it is negotiating to become a sponsor of Corinthians. The club has been without a master sponsor for 40 days, following the turbulent termination with Vaidebet, leaving the most valuable space on the shirt unoccupied.
Negotiation between Corinthians and Parimatch
Parimatch is alert to new opportunities in the club market with available spaces or contracts about to expire. According to the company, they are interested in exploring partnerships that can strengthen their brand in the Brazilian market.
“Our brand continually observes the various possibilities opened up in the market by clubs that have available spaces and that have contracts about to expire.
We are interested in exploring new opportunities to strengthen our brand in the Brazilian market. There are some open proposals for cooperation with TOP-5 football clubs that are available for negotiation.
Naturally, the possibility of cooperation with Corinthians is among them. We cannot reveal any details, other than confirming that we are in negotiations”, said Parimatch in a note to Meu Timão.
Conditions established by Corinthians
To avoid problems similar to those that occurred with Vaidebet, Corinthians stipulated some specific conditions to close with the new sponsor.
The club’s board requires a 12-month payment guarantee and wants to close the deal without intermediaries. These measures aim to ensure stability and transparency in the new partnership.
In addition to Parimatch, Corinthians is also in negotiations with Esportes da Sorte.
The club seeks an approximate value of R$100 million per year for master sponsorship, a significant amount that demonstrates the importance of space on the team’s shirt.
