The SBC Summit, held for the first time in Lisbon, left its mark on the iGaming sector, as did SOFTSWISS, which had a notable presence celebrating its anniversary at the event.
Eighty SOFTSWISS representatives participated in the SBC Summit in Lisbon, welcoming their partners to the largest stand in the company’s history – a 288 m² space. Partners, customers and industry colleagues gathered at the stand to celebrate SOFTSWISS’ 15th anniversary.
With greetings, lively discussions and a spirit of collaboration, guests explored future business opportunities, formed new partnerships and discovered new paths towards growth.
Among the highlights was the chance for customers to meet with SOFTSWISS founder Ivan Montik and Formula 1 legend Rubens Barrichello to discuss business insights.
Shared experience and leadership
Montik and Barrichello shared their leadership experiences on the main stage during the Leaders Summit, engaging the audience with invaluable lessons.
Ivan Montik took on the role of interviewer, extracting key leadership insights from Rubens Barrichello, who spoke about the essential lessons he learned as a Formula 1 driver and how he applies them to business as a leader. The event, tailored for leaders, offered inspiration to everyone in attendance.
From the stage, Rubens Barrichello reflected on the importance of practice and adaptability: “Natural ability can take someone far, but without practice and repetition, it is not enough. In both racing and business, the important thing is to adapt quickly, refocus and constantly improve to deal with whatever comes your way.”
He added about teamwork and leadership: “Success comes when there is harmony in the team. Whether running or running a company, trust between team members and knowledge of each other’s role is essential. A good leader is not just someone who gives orders, but someone who listens, learns and works collaboratively with their team.”
During his speech, Ivan Montik commented on leadership in business: “In today’s fast-paced world, leaders need to be adaptable and ready to make quick decisions. It’s not just about managing tasks, it’s about motivating your team, promoting trust and enabling everyone to contribute to the organization’s success.”
Remarkable moments and celebration of 15 years of SOFTSWISS
The three days in Lisbon were full of unforgettable moments. Among these moments, the Grand 1 Party stood out, which celebrated SOFTSWISS’ 15th anniversary.
The event was attended by more than 500 guests and took place in the best location in the city. Additionally, legendary DJ Benny Benassi took the stage, energizing the audience and turning the celebration into an unforgettable night.
A highlight was the Track Day led by Rubens Barrichello, where participants learned directly from the Formula 1 legend. Rubens guided the group through several high-performance driving experiences. These experiences included sessions in a Formula 4 car, Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and Porsche 718.
Additionally, it provided real-time guidance, performance feedback, and expert insights. In this way, it taught participants advanced driving skills and techniques, making this an unforgettable learning experience.
