After the inclusion of Esportes da Sorte and Reals in the national list of betting companies authorized to continue operating until December, the Ministry of Treasury announced another update. Now, the relationship has four new platforms, one from Megapix and the other three from Sportvip Group.

In other words, the Treasury’s Betting Management System (SIGAP), to date, registers 100 companies with 223 betting platforms on the national list, with 26 companies in the state report.

Currently, state accreditation covers Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Maranhão, Minas Gerais and Paraíba.

These betting houses are allowed to operate until December 31st of this year. This is because the turn of the year will mark the entry into force of the regulated sports betting and online gaming market in Brazil.

However, it is worth noting that Megapix Comunicação e Tecnologia joined due to court order, while Sportvip Group International Apostas was added to adapt to the standards required by the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA).

Ministry of Treasury should announce first approved bets by November 20th

According to the government, the names of the first approved companies must be published by November 20th, with the obligation to pay 30 million reais for a grant valid for five years.

Furthermore, these companies will be able to operate up to three brands, as long as they comply with all advertising, responsible gaming, combating irregularities and money laundering standards.
