Superbet, master sponsor of São Paulo Futebol Clube, carried out an unprecedented activation in Brazilian football. In celebration of the club’s 95th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of its third world championship, the company presented the largest flag in the world, with dimensions equivalent to three football fields.
With an impressive 22 thousand square meters, the gigantic flag covered the upper ring of the Morumbi stadium during the Paulistão derby against Corinthians. The game ended with a remarkable 3-1 victory for Tricolor, adding even more excitement to the day.
Superbet produces record and sustainable production
The club called the action “Torcida que Conduz”, reinforcing the bond with its fans. According to Patrícia Prates, marketing director at Superbet Brasil, she defined the project as a historic gift.
“This project was designed as a super gift for ‘Torcida que Conduz’, starting the year by breaking records and bringing the fans to be part of history”, he stated.
The opening of the flag was one of the most anticipated moments of the match. During the players’ entry onto the field, 400 people stretched out the immense piece. Drones captured aerial images that highlighted the grandeur of the initiative.
Superbet invested a month in producing the flag, using 13,507 meters of straight fabric. The clothing production generated 50 direct jobs, benefiting local workers. Furthermore, the company plans a recycling project for the material used, reaffirming its commitment to sustainability.
The initiative established a milestone in Brazilian sport, surpassing all previous flags records ever created. In addition to its monumental dimension, the action further consolidated the relationship between Superbet and São Paulo FC, reinforcing the club’s leading role in high-impact celebrations.
An event to remember the fans
The fans who attended the classic experienced a true spectacle, with a combination of colors, emotions and a historic record. Superbet’s action promises to be remembered for years, as a milestone for both São Paulo and Brazilian football.
With this grand gesture, the “Torcida que Conduz” gained even more reasons to be proud of their role in the club’s history. This celebration is an example of how football can combine passion, creativity and social commitment into an unforgettable experience.
