Hard Rock Digital has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), with the merger expanding its integrity monitoring coverage in the United States.

From now on, the health data for Hard Rock Digital’s online sports betting platform, Hard Rock Bet, will now be fed by IBIA, which includes over 70 companies and 140 sports betting brands.

“Hard Rock Digital is committed to protecting the integrity of sports and ensuring a responsible gaming environment for our players. We are proud to join the International Betting Integrity Association and support their mission by helping to detect suspicious activity and ensure fair play on a global scale,” said Matt Primeaux, President and CEO of Hard Rock Digital.

Khalid Ali, CEO of IBIA, also spoke. “IBIA is delighted to welcome Hard Rock Digital to our association of leading global sports betting operators.”

“Hard Rock is a major US company and is another great addition to our rapidly expanding member base, further strengthening our health monitoring coverage in the North American region and globally,” he added.

The role of IBIA

IBIA is a non-profit entity that does not deal with competing conflicts with the delivery of commercial services to other sectors. Run by operators for operators, its purpose is to protect regulated sports betting markets from match-fixing.

However, the association is licensed and approved to provide integrity monitoring services in 32 US states and holds multiple Tribal Gaming licenses.

IBIA’s global monitoring and alert network is a highly effective anti-corruption tool, detecting and reporting suspicious activity in regulated betting markets.

Importance and international partnerships

Furthermore, the International Betting Integrity Association is the leading global voice on integrity for the licensed betting industry. Therefore, its members share a common goal in combating corruption in betting.

The association has long-standing information-sharing partnerships with major sports bodies including FIFA, UEFA, ITIA and the IOC. Furthermore, it maintains a policy of transparency and publishes quarterly integrity reports analyzing the activities reported across its network.
