Santos is in the process of finalizing details to sign a contract with its new master sponsor, Novibet. The brand will pay the club three times more than its current partner, Blaze, however, the exact figures have not been revealed. The signing is expected to take place next week, after the agreement was put in place in recent days.
Novibet is expected to start printing the main space on the club‘s uniform for both men and women. The contract is expected to start on April 14, one day after the current agreement with Blaze ends. According to information, the contract will be valid for two years, until April 2027.
The debut of the uniform with the new sponsor should happen in the game against Atlético-MG, on April 16, at Vila Belmiro. The game takes place in the third round of the Brazilian Championship.
The deal between Santos and Novibet has been in the works since before Neymar’s arrival. The player is entitled to a high percentage of any commercial agreement reached by the club during his stay under contract in the country.
There is a lot of optimism behind the scenes about attracting new business partners with the club. Santos has been positioned as a major asset in the sponsorship market, with the brand exposure, after returning to the national football elite. Peixe even negotiated with Viva Sorte for the main area of the shirt, but the negotiation did not progress.
