BiS SiGMA Americas 2025 is about to kick off, cementing Brazil as one of the leading global iGaming and online betting markets. The event will take place from April 7 to 10 at the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo.

The previous edition, in 2024, was a remarkable success, bringing together more than 14,000 participants and exhibitors from 60 countries. Now, the event is expanding significantly, with a 50% increase in its area. In this way, the space went from 20,000 m² to more than 32,000 m².

With this expansion, the expectation is to receive around 18 thousand people. In addition, BiS SiGMA Americas 2025 will feature more than 260 companies from the sector. This significant increase reflects the recognition of Brazil as one of the most promising regions for online betting and regulated gaming.

Expansion of the Brazilian iGaming market

This edition marks a historic moment, being the first after the regulation of betting in the country.

Alessandro Valente, co-founder of BiS SIGMA, highlights: “Our expectation is not for it to be bigger, but better. With regulation, we have a more concise and streamlined market, which allows us to focus on quality.”

The expansion of the Brazilian online gambling market is remarkable. Reports from the National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL) indicate that the country is on its way to becoming a global Top 3 player. However, new challenges arise with the regulatory process.

Responsibility in gambling and the fight against gambling addiction are crucial issues. Valente emphasizes: “Gambling addiction affects around 6% of gamblers globally. Now, we will have more accurate statistics and mechanisms to combat this problem.”

Regulation also boosts job creation and attracts professionals from various areas to the sector in the country. Valente explains: “We are seeing a flood of suppliers setting up their operations here, hiring dozens of people to start.”

Furthermore, the possibility of land-based casinos is under discussion. Valente argues: “Singapore saw its tourism revenue jump from 2 billion to 20 billion with the legalization of casinos.”

BiS SiGMA Americas emerges to give visibility to the sector

The market also faces challenges such as piracy and illegal gambling companies. Valente warns: “The government needs to step up the fight against piracy, as is already happening in industries such as tobacco and alcohol.”

Therefore, BiS SIGMA Americas was created to give visibility to the sector. Alessandro Valente concludes: “We wanted something more comprehensive and made for Brazilians. The success of the event comes from the growth of the industry and the global interest in the Brazilian market.”

The 2025 edition promises to be a landmark, with 40 hours of lectures and workshops. Tickets are available on the event’s official website.
