The Nevada Gaming Control Board has released its gaming revenue figures for February 2025. Both the Las Vegas Strip and the state reported declines in revenue.
State of Nevada
Total gaming revenue in the state of Nevada saw a slight drop to $1.22 billion when compared to January’s figures. This also represents a 9.3% decrease compared to the same period last year.
While card and table games saw a 22% year-on-year decline to $401.7 million, slots, however, saw a small 1.4% drop to $816 million. In this way, almost every individual demographic group fell year-on-year, with a few notable exceptions.
Baccarat fell 51% to $88.4 million, blackjack fell 21.5% to $104 million, and one-cent slots fell 26% to $153.4 million.
Sports betting also saw declines, including a 31.8% drop in basketball to $16.7 million and a 49.3% decrease in hockey to $2.2 million. Baseball betting was the only negative revenue figure for this section, reporting a loss of $440,000.
Las Vegas Strip Gaming
Total gaming revenue on the Las Vegas Strip during the month of February 2025 was $690.3 million. This represents a 17.8% decrease from January and a 13.8% decrease from the previous year.
Total card and table games revenue fell 26.5% year-on-year to $308.4 million, while slots revenue saw a 0.3% increase to $381.9 million.
The 56 licenses reporting on the Las Vegas Strip also saw widespread declines in individual games.
Almost all baccarat games in the state are played on-site, so the 52% drop annually to $87.5 million is fairly consistent with statewide figures. Finally, blackjack saw revenue fall 28.3% to $77.4 million.
