Viva Sorte will terminate its sponsorship contract with Corinthians. The partnership between the capitalization company and the club has been in effect since February 2025 through the capitalization bond “Viva Timão”. The brand is currently featured on the shoulders of the team’s shirt.
The causes of the rupture have not been officially clarified, at least until this Wednesday (23), according to information from the Poder 360 portal. The contract provided for the payment of R$30 million over two years.
According to reports, the brand will appear for the last time on Timão‘s uniform in the match against Racing from Uruguay, on Thursday (25). The strategy of associating the company’s products with football teams was also used with São Paulo. There, the capitalization title with the brand “Viva Tricolor”. In the case of Tricolor Paulista, the contract has already been terminated.
However, in the case of São Paulo, the club issued an official statement in which it not only informed the end of the partnership, but also mentioned the necessary measures taken to guarantee the rights agreed in the contract.
“With immediate effect, the brand will no longer appear on the Club’s shirt, and São Paulo will also cease to exploit the other properties provided for in the agreement. SPFC will take the necessary measures to preserve its interests and guarantee its rights after the end of the partnership”, says the note published by São Paulo.
Sponsorship model created by Viva Sorte to avoid conflicts
This sponsorship model was developed as an alternative to avoid conflicts with exclusive contracts with bookmakers, which occupy the master sponsor space on uniforms. However, in January 2025, the company launched its own betting platform, Viva Sorte Bet.
Therefore, the initiative has caused controversy due to the conflict with betting houses that already sponsor clubs. Viva Sorte still maintains contracts with other Brazilian clubs: Vasco, Santos, Fortaleza, Ceará and Sport.
The company also sponsors the naming rights of Vila Belmiro, now called “Vila Viva Sorte”. As a sportsbook, Viva Sorte sponsors Bahia (master) and Goiás.
