Flutter’s UK team, which numbers over 5,000 employees across brands including Sky Betting & Gaming, Paddy Power and Betfair, is working to raise over £375,000 for charity.

Flutter has chosen Pancreatic Cancer UK as its charity for 2025. This action pays tribute to James Blackburn, a Sky Betting & Gaming employee who passed away following a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in April 2023.

Actions performed in the past

Last year, Flutter UK employees donated £375,000 to Cure Leukaemia and are aiming to raise even more this year.

Meanwhile, staff in Dublin are raising funds for the National Maternity Hospital Foundation, which aims to support research, innovation and excellence in maternal and newborn health.

Over the past two years, the Flutter team in Ireland has raised €700,000 for BUMBLEance, the Children’s Ambulance Service Ireland, and Spinal Injuries Ireland.

Flutter executive talks about the company’s actions

Commenting on the partnership with Pancreatic Cancer UK, Sky Betting & Gaming, Tombola and Trading Director Steve Birch said: “We have been overwhelmed by the number of nominations for Pancreatic Cancer UK. We continue to be inspired by the passion that colleagues show in their efforts to raise awareness and support this charity.

It is clear that this year-long partnership will hold a special place in our hearts as we remember those who have been affected by this brutal disease every step of the way.”

Speaking about the partnership with the National Maternity Hospital Foundation, Flutter’s UK and Ireland CEO Kevin Harrington added: “Many Flutter employees have a personal connection to the hospital. Whether it’s because they were born there, had a baby there or know someone who has received care there, raising money for the foundation is a cause close to everyone’s heart.

We have almost 1,500 people working in our Dublin office and their drive to get involved in regular fundraising efforts for this foundation is something I am personally proud to witness. I hope our colleagues are proud too.”
