Attorney Adélia de Jesus Soares and a representative of the company Peach Blossom River Technology will be heard by the Bets CPI. The commission investigates irregularities in the online betting sector and will hear the two this Tuesday (29), starting at 11 am. The testimonies are part of the investigations into the financial, social and regulatory impacts of the operations of betting platforms in Brazil.
The rapporteur of the CPI, Senator Soraya Thronicke (Podemos-MS), summoned the testimony of Adélia Soares, through request REQ 383/2024 – CPIBETS. The businesswoman is the owner of Payflow Processadora de Pagamentos Ltda.
According to the document, the main purpose of the summons is to provide information about Adélia’s possible involvement in association with criminal organizations. These organizations are allegedly involved in money laundering practices, as well as the use of digital influencers in the promotion of

According to investigations, Payflow is accused of being used as a front company for irregular financial transactions, as well as money laundering linked to gambling. Furthermore, according to the senator, there are indications that the company operated in violation of Central Bank regulations. The company is allegedly linked to a company based in the British Virgin Islands.
The request for testimony seeks to clarify the company’s corporate structure, which, according to the investigation, may have a corporate link with Payflow. Peach Blossom River Technology is mentioned in investigations being conducted by the Civil Police of the Federal District. It may also be involved in financial operations related to online betting platforms.
In addition to these two statements, the committee may deliberate on two other requests presented by Soraya. One of them requests the summoning of digital influencer Giliard Vidal dos Santos to testify before the committee. The other REQ 445/2025 – CPIBETS requests the Financial Activities Control Council (Coaf) to prepare a Financial Intelligence Report (RIF) on this influencer.
