On the part of fans, there is also a growing interest in the process and in the many games that will still be fought before November, otherwise this would not be the country of football.

Knowing how important it is for the national culture, we follow, step by step, the entire path of the selection until the big moment arrives – so awaited – with the effective start of the World Cup. Get to know the dates that fill the agenda of our selection and which are the main meetings that our athletes will face until that moment, to be aware of all the news that we already have access to.

Fans eagerly await the World Cup in Qatar

Qatar will host the 2022 World Cup and Brazil will debut in this tournament on November 24, 2022, facing Serbia.

Until that moment fills our televisions (and our souls) with adrenaline, however, other matches will be played by the Brazilian team, including five friendly matches that will fill the players’ calendar in the coming months.

From June onwards, you will be able to watch these games, which will serve as training for the team and will finally allow us to meet the squad that will be taken to Qatar to represent Brazilian football.

Since the European teams are playing, on the dates of the friendlies, the League of Nations, none of Brazil’s games will be with a European team. For this reason, a training period in Europe is included in our players’ agenda before the departure for Qatar.

Game dates for you to note

The friendly matches that the Brazilian team has on their calendar make our schedule very full until the most awaited event of the moment arrives: the World Cup in Qatar.

This June, the Brazil team won its two friendly matches, against South Korea (June 2) and Japan (June 6). The team thrashed Korea 5-1 and beat Japan 1-0, Neymar scored a penalty kick.

In September, we will face Mexico and Argentina in friendly matches, with no set dates for these meetings to take place.

At the World Cup, the first matches on Brazil’s agenda are the games against Serbia on November 24th, Switzerland on November 28th and Cameroon on December 2nd.
