UpSports.Bet is promoting an unprecedented action in the global betting industry. The brand has partnered with a bodybuilding championship, which will become the first to have sports betting. This is Mr Olympia Brasil, scheduled for September 23, 24 and 25, in São Paulo.
The agreement was signed between UpSports.Bet, LiveSports and businessman Caique Parça, according to MKT Esportivo. The betting company’s relationship with the sport arose as a result of the intention to support bodybuilding and also through friendship with the main Brazilian names.
In addition, competitors such as Renato Cariani, Júlio Balestrin and Felipe Franco, publicly expressed their willingness to place a bet on a competition in which the three would face each other.
“We came in supporting this idea, taking bodybuilding into the world of betting. The biggest sports are in the betting world and why not bodybuilding? We have boxing, football, basketball among many others, and we at UpSports.Bet believe that bodybuilding deserves to be in the same place. We hope that this event can be a milestone in the history of bodybuilding and we are happy to be a part of it”, said Felipe Dias, CEO of UpSports.Bet.
UpSports.Bet presented a personalized betting visual for this initiative, in which it is estimated which of the three participants will be better placed in Mr Olympia Brasil, with ODDs adjusted to the physique of each representative.
And, bodybuilding appears as the main bet on the platform, expanding not only the rivalry between competitors, as well as between the bases of followers.
UpSports.Bet sports partnerships
Currently, UpSports.Bet has other relevant partnerships in the national sports scene. Recently, the company was announced as a sponsor of Paysandu, a traditional football club.
In addition, the bookmaker also has a sponsorship contract with Ferroviário Atlético Clube, based in Fortaleza (CE), and with ABC de Natal.
