Exclusive: Laurent Puons reveals SPORTEL Miami's growth in 2023 and plans to take the event to South America

The SPORTEL Rendez-vous Miami is coming to an end this Wednesday, the 10th. The CEO of SPORTEL, Laurent Puons, gave an exclusive interview and commented on the results obtained by the 2023 edition.

“The first objective: to be able to bring the European community to the American market, which we achieved because a large part of the American companies are present and it is a beautiful opportunity for the European community”, he commented.

In addition, he revealed some figures for this year’s convention: “We reached the number of more than 400 participants, but what is most important is that we have more than 25% of new participants, generating new business possibilities and new contacts. This is the key to the success of the event”.

Laurent Puons was also quite emphatic in explaining that the “main focus is to ensure the quality of high-level businesses. I met several participants and speakers and they are all unanimous about the quality of the networking, which also happens because of the quality of the participants”.

Regarding expansion plans, he admitted that there is a chance of taking the event to South America. “Our goal every year is to be able to bring opportunities to different communities. It is important to always return to the Americas, whether it will be in North America or South America, we are discussing to see what will be more opportune”.
