Florencia Brancato, with two decades of experience in the Brazilian market, shared her vision about the new phase of the betting sector that begins on January 1, 2025. The iGaming specialist is focused on the consultancy area and preparing her clients for this transition.
“In December, we will have a critical moment for Brazil. You know what will happen. We are working on this, a lot of people need advice. We have been waiting for this for 20 years”, she stated.
“We are working with companies to make the transition happen in the best way possible. Important changes will happen, the media will be more attentive, and it will be complicated for those who do not have a license”, she added.
However, Florencia highlighted that the scenario will offer many opportunities. “The companies that remain, big players, will grow. If they act intelligently, they will be able to capture this audience.”
“If a European operator comes to Brazil, things change. Location is important. It is necessary to have people who are from Brazil, who have experience and understand the minds of Brazilians”, she added.
Events
The interview with the iGaming specialist took place during SBC Lisboa, an event held for the first time in Portugal. Florencia was impressed by the beauty of the Portuguese capital and the number of Brazilians present at the convention.
She also revealed that she will participate in a panel at the SBC Summit Latinoamérica, from October 29th to 31st. The conference will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Miami, and promises to bring together 4,000 participants.
