The global gambling market met in Barcelona last week. ICE 2025 was the first edition held outside London (ING). According to Manuel Matos, from Super Afiliados, the event was even bigger in Spanish territory.
“The expectation of adaptation for the first event outside London, but it exceeded expectations. You can see it’s even bigger,” he commented.
Furthermore, he highlighted the presence of the Brazilian Lounge initiative at yet another international fair. “A regulated market in 2025 is a new era for the industry. Brazilian Lounge is here at the industry’s main event. ICE is the only event that combines physical and online, it is the mothership of industry events.”
“Therefore, it is important to be present to know what is happening. Super now also needs to have a regulated market”, he added.
Affiliate Market
Manuel Matos also commented on the need for affiliates to adapt to the new legislation in the sector. “We have many affiliates who want to start operating in the regulated market. We are going to educate them so that they do it the right way, because we have Conar supervising us”, he stressed.
However, the CCO at Super Afiliados is very optimistic: “This year will be prosperous for the industry and for Brazil. We are excited about what lies ahead.”
BiS SiGMA Americas
Regarding the coming months, he made a point of praising BiS SiGMA Americas, the biggest betting event in the Americas.
“It is the main industry meeting in Brazil. So, anyone who wants to operate in Brazil needs to be at this event to be up to date with the latest news. It is a much more professional market, and BiS is necessary for anyone in the industry”, he concluded.
