BETBr is the 45th betting company to apply for licensing in Brazil

This Monday (19), the Betting Management System (SIGAP) received a new request from a betting company related to the license to operate in the Brazilian market. This is BETBr (BETBR Loterias LTDA).

Therefore, the bookmaker presents itself as “a company focused on the entertainment of its users, always seeking to offer the best possible experience. The company was born in 2021 with a specific focus on the Brazilian public and their particularities and customs”.

Deadline for authorization requests ends this Tuesday

It is worth noting that BETBr became the 45th company in the segment to forward the required documentation to the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets of the Ministry of Treasury (SPA/MF).

The deadline for this first registration window is this Tuesday (20). The objective is for the groups to be able to operate legally from January next year.

According to the Treasury, approved operators will be informed by November 18th, receiving one month to make the payment of R$30 million of the grant valid for five years.

After submitting the application, all companies that have their requests approved will go through the audit process. This procedure includes analyzing the platform, implemented policies and operational details, ensuring that the company is reputable and able to take care of bettors appropriately.
