SPA-MF and IC360 sign agreement to strengthen integrity in sports betting

The Ministry of Treasury’s Prizes and Betting Secretariat (SPA-MF) signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) with Integrity Compliance 360 ​​(IC360) last Friday (25). IC360 is an entity specialized in integrity and compliance solutions for sports, sports betting, gambling and iGaming.

This is the fifth similar agreement signed by SPA-MF, reinforcing the prevention and fight against the manipulation of sports results to favor betting.

SPA-MF signed the first four ACTs in October 2024 with entities recognized globally for their work. Finally, SPA-MF will maintain the agreement with IC360 for five years and may expand it to new objectives.

IC360 Betting Solutions and Agreement Details

IC360 has expertise in identifying suspicious betting movements, helping to detect and contain attempts to manipulate results. It will exchange information with SPA-MF about the betting market and help qualify the secretariat’s teams.

The MF’s Prize and Betting Secretary, Regis Dudena, stated: “Integrity entities such as IC360 play a fundamental role in supporting the SPA’s activities, especially in identifying signs of match-fixing, in addition to the structured exchange of information”.

Furthermore, the secretary added: “With this agreement, both the SPA and the partner integrity bodies expand their monitoring and inspection capabilities. Thus, promoting greater security and transparency in the sector.”

IC360 COO Scott Sadin said it was an honor to enter into an agreement with SPA-MF to enhance awareness and integrity monitoring capabilities in the Brazilian market.

Scott Sadin said: “The mission is to foster a culture of accountability and provide a warning system for all stakeholders. In this way, we ensure that integrity is respected and sustainable for the Brazilian community.”

The agreement does not involve transfers of funds or payments between the parties. The initiative aims to strengthen the security of the system, protecting the betting market, sports and society as a whole.
