The Spanish club, Real Madrid and the English private equity firm, REPX, have signed a partnership agreement. The football team in Europe will be able to provide their fans with personalized cards in Latin America, with the exception of Mexico.
The company reported that this commercial arrangement will allow it to reach a market with more than 700 million potential customers, since the team that disputes the leadership of the Spanish Championship has thousands of fans in the region.
Francesco Leo, the executive chairman of REPX, assured that the group has developed an electronic payments segment based on a series of proprietary patents that make the cards exclusive. “This has been achieved thanks to careful and dynamic management combined with significant commercial distribution agreements”.
Real Madrid fans in Latin America now have the chance to have a prepaid card, gaining access to numerous services and bank transfers.
“REPX allows the prepaid cardholder to express his passion when using it, but above all, it grants him access to a world of privileges and direct contact with his favorite team”, is stated in the official statement of the company .

Responsible for the worldwide sponsorship of REPX, Andrés Tortarolo Fragola also spoke after the announcement according to one of the biggest football clubs today.
“Latin America and the Caribbean are two of the richest developing regions in the world and, according to data from the World Bank, 200 million people in the region (43% of the adult population) are countless,” he said.
Fragola also stressed that REPX is an active part in solving this problem. “For this, the Real Madrid brand and its values, which have a lot of weight and influence in the region, are the perfect platform for this launch”.
