Soft2Bet, a provider of casino and sports betting platforms, has partnered with the global leader in identity verification and authentication, Onfido, to provide secure and simplified identity verification for users.

Onfido’s award-winning technology uses artificial intelligence (AI) and facial biometrics to verify users’ identity, providing a more convenient user experience for Soft2Bet customers while reducing fraud.

Integration automates customer onboarding and simplifies Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements. This allows Soft2bet to efficiently validate the authenticity of their customers’ real identity so that users can start using the gaming platform faster.

Users simply take a photo of their government-issued identity (ID) and a photograph of themselves. Onfido first checks that the identity is genuine and not fraudulent, and then matches it to the user’s face.


Verification ensures that the person presenting the identity is its rightful owner and is physically present. Users are able to securely verify their identity through a simple and easy-to-use online experience.

This follows Soft2Bet’s approval of the Malta Gaming License for its Frumzi casino, allowing it to launch customers into the MGA markets, a selection of slot machines, live casino and jackpot games.
