The ‘Shark Tank-like’ challenge, aimed at Hero Gaming employees, was launched internally via a virtual meeting and presented via a zoom conference. The project was conceived by Marie Theobald, Director of People, and Andrea Saliba, Head of Talent and Organizational Development at the company.

‘Shark Tank-like’ pursued eight viable ideas, including add-on automation and targeting, to make the iGaming gaming experience more enjoyable.

The three finalists were announced during the company’s trip to Marbella. The innovation platform created by Hero Gaming offered a cash prize to the most suitable idea to accompany the company’s development. Now, the finalists have presented their ideas to the rest of the organization.

“The iGaming industry is dynamic where talented individuals can learn on the job and move up the ranks very quickly. This contest was aimed at encouraging ambitious and creative minds that have the potential to take the company to the next level,” said Saliba.

An initiative to encourage the working environment of Hero Gaming

This initiative not only created a platform to share ideas and drive creativity and innovation, but also served as a great team building exercise as the teams were made up of individuals from different departments within the organization, which allowed participants to collaborate with new team members and build stronger relationships with them.

The judges were Georg Westin, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Hero Gaming, Tomas Backman, former CEO, Karin Fahl Hallberg, Head of HR and Sasha Koshlo, Head of Frontend Development.

“At Hero Gaming we are always looking for ways to improve the gaming experience. We pride ourselves on originality and creativity and guide our employees to develop innovative gaming concepts. This event is a function of that mindset, but we are always innovative and reward those peers from work that excel in new ideas,” said Westin.
