As ICE London organizers finalize preparations to welcome 450 world-class exhibitors, industry leaders returning after a two-year forced absence due to Covid-19 speak out in favor of the events and their security measures.
Chris Skeith, Executive Director of the AEO (Association of Event Organizers), said: “Thanks to the success of the vaccination programme, the UK is leading the world in terms of reopening, and is very open for business.”
“The fact that Plan B measures have been removed for commercial events, that there is no legal requirement for covid approval checks, side flow or PCR testing, masks or social distancing, has been universally welcomed by organizers, venues, vendors and, most importantly, by visitors and exhibitors”.
Stuart Hunter, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming, said: “Those planning to attend ICE London, which event professionals regard as one of the UK’s premier trade fairs, should be encouraged and reassured that many shows are already being held with safety and effectiveness at locations across the UK and have generated a very positive response from both buyers and sellers.”
“With AEO research confirming that nearly seven out of ten buyers (69%) will recommend brands they’ve committed to at events, there’s no doubt that the return of face-to-face represents a huge opportunity for businesses and industries. recover after two difficult years”.
