Bookmaker Caesars plans to sign ESPN’s Adam Schefter

Caesars bookmaker is preparing to announce NFL expert Adam Schefter as its latest signing, according to the Front Office Sports.

With his current ESPN contract about to expire, Schefter tends to attract offers from various sports betting companies, given his aspirations to launch a sports media company, not just a bookmaker.

Schefter joined ESPN in 2009, and has since appeared on several shows including: “Sunday NFL Countdown”, “Monday Night Countdown”, “NFL Live”, “Get Up”, and “SportsCenter”.

Caesars has already utilized ESPN’s talent pool through its recent partnerships with Kenny Mayne and Trey Wingo, but understands it faces competition from companies like DraftKings and FanDuel.


While ESPN and Caesars declined to comment, a Front Office Sports source said: “ESPN absolutely wants to keep Schefty. , if you want”.

Another source, however, said: “The competitive landscape is changing as we speak. The networks want to cut or keep talent salaries. sports media”.

NBA member Adrian Wojnarowski is reportedly another prominent name in the industry who could be approached by major sports bookmakers in the near future.
