Lottopar reinforces its commitment to Responsible Gaming by making a new tool available on its website.
The company is allowing bettors to request temporary or permanent self-exclusion from authorized betting sites in Paraná.
This initiative aims to help players who notice signs of possible development of problems related to betting and seek to stop this practice.
In recent years, authorized betting sites in Paraná have stood out as a reliable and safe entertainment option.
However, recognizing the possibility that some individuals may be susceptible to online gaming addiction, Lottopar, as a prerequisite for the authorization of operators in the State. The company has imposed the implementation of Responsible Gaming policies.
This includes the creation of an exclusive channel to assist players with potential gambling problems, allowing them to signal their decision to stop using these sports betting websites temporarily or indefinitely.
Lottopar self-exclusion tool for greater control
In addition to the requirements for operators, Lottopar introduced a page on its portal, providing bettors with the possibility of self-exclusion from these betting sites.
Self-exclusion can be requested through this page, and it will take effect within 24 hours.
During the exclusion period, the account remains active only for checking history and withdrawing remaining balances, with a minimum duration of 30 days.
Reactivation is only possible by email after the established deadline and only by the person who requested self-exclusion, avoiding undue manipulation.
Washington Lemos Filho, technical advisor to Lottopar’s Operations Department, highlights the importance of self-exclusion.
“A crucial tool for keeping the player in a responsible gaming condition is the self-exclusion system.
Lottopar’s requirement is that all operators keep this functionality active, allowing bettors to request self-exclusion directly on the betting site.”
