Brazilians’ hearts beat stronger not only for football, but also for other sports, reveals a survey carried out by Opinion Box at the request of Aposta Legal Brasil.
Thus, the national passion extends to volleyball, Formula 1, basketball and tennis, captivating the attention of a very diverse audience.
According to Aposta Legal, football remains a national passion
The survey shows that, despite football being the favorite for 89% of those interviewed, the following sports gained prominence on the national scene:
- Volleyball (38%)
- Formula 1 (36%)
- Basketball (32%)
- Tennis (31%)
Surprisingly, 9 out of 10 Brazilians have the habit of supporting or following a team, with support for national clubs standing out.
The survey was carried out with men and women over 18 years of age who support and/or follow athletes, teams and international championships or competitions.
But when it comes to volleyball, an interesting fact shows the preference of women (48%) in this sport compared to men (32%).
