The Brazilian sports betting market continues its impressive growth trajectory. During the first quarter of 2025, betting platforms recorded more than 5 billion hits, which represents approximately 650 visits per second.

To illustrate this accelerated pace, it would be possible to completely fill the Maracanã stadium, with a capacity for 78 thousand people, in just 2 minutes.

January 2025, marking the official start of regulation of the sector in the country, recorded 1.7 billion accesses. Although there was a small reduction in February, when the volume fell to 1.4 billion, March brought a new historical record with 1.8 billion accesses in a single month.

Explosion of growth after regulation

During the second half of 2024, the volume of accesses remained relatively stable. The third quarter recorded 2.55 billion visits, while the fourth quarter reached 2.66 billion.

With the regulation, the average number of visits to the sector’s websites increased by 90% compared to the previous quarter.

In the first quarter of 2025, the platform accumulated 1.1 billion accesses — distributed in 357 million in January, 332 million in February and 417 million in March. Superbet and Bet365 appear next.
