Aston Villa has just introduced LT as the club’s new official betting partner. The global gaming brand logo will appear on the sleeves of the team’s shirts in all upcoming matches during the 2020/21 season.
Nicola Ibbetson, the commercial director, said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with LT and to work with them together to increase our fan base internationally”.
Ibbetson continued: “As a company with a global reach, we are excited to see our brand appear on the sleeves of the football team’s shirt for the first time this season.”
LT CEO Ronald Tan also commented on the deal being made official. “We are delighted and excited to be partnering with Aston Villa, one of the best football clubs in England with great history and a global fan base.”
Tan further commented that “we are looking forward to the season and relating closely with fans, players and the club administration. LT is a trusted 16-year-old gaming brand with a presence in many different markets and we share the same values as Aston Villa. After all, we are playing to win ”.
Founded in 2004, LT was one of the first Asian companies to provide money-based online gaming entertainment services. In addition, the company has a large number of international users and a strong market share.
Aston Villa starts in the Premier League
The new season of the Premier League (English Football Championship) started on September 12th. However, Aston Villa was given “free time” in the first round due to the clash against Manchester City, who advanced in the last Champions League and had their debut postponed.
Therefore, Aston’s first match in the competition only took place on September 21 against Sheffield United. With a 1-0 victory, the team won their first victory and is now preparing to face Fulham next Monday, 28.
