Fantasy sports provider Scout Gaming has reached a software license agreement with operator Interwetten. With this arrangement, Interwetten will have access to the Scout Gaming platform and will launch the forecast game for this year’s European team tournament, EuroCopa.
It is worth remembering that the competition was scheduled to take place in 2020 and was postponed due to the pandemic. Therefore, the integration of the platform will start immediately and Interwetten will be able to offer its customers the Euro2020 forecasting game.
The forecasting tool will operate using a mechanism that has been enhanced by Scout Gaming. The current contract only includes the free preview version of Scout. But both companies are discussing future cooperation, which may involve a broader offer of products from the fantasy sports provider.
Scout Gaming COO Joakim Renman said: “We are delighted to welcome one of the leading brands in Europe. Interwetten is a high level operator with a lot of experience in the online gambling industry. In addition, the company was one of the pioneers in the beginning of online games still in the 90s ”.
Renman added: “I look forward to starting our work on developing sports offerings to ensure they stay ahead of the competition for many years to come.”
The head of Product Management, Content and Customer Relationship Management, Mario Bilic, said: “We have sport in our DNA and Scout Gaming has emerged as an innovative B2B sports supplier with a modern and forward looking product package anything we’ve seen on the market ”.
Bilic added: “It is incredible to have secured a partner for such innovative sports content after seeing an increasing interest from our customers in new ways to get involved in sports.”
