Flutter Entertainment has named Amy Howe CEO of FanDuel. A Cornell University graduate with an MBA from the Wharton Business School, Howe was chosen to serve as interim CEO in July. She joined the company in February 2021 with responsibility for leading the group’s core business functions in its sports betting, casino, racing and daily fantasy businesses.
“I am delighted to confirm Amy’s appointment as our new CEO in the United States. Since joining the company earlier this year, she has done an outstanding job of leading our business functions and ensuring that we perform well in this critical growth phase for our business,” said Flutter CEO Peter Jackson.
Jackson continued: “The expansion of the US market represents the most exciting opportunity for Flutter today. Amy’s leadership track record and experience in expanding a digital business will be invaluable as we look to increase our leadership position.”
Howe’s trajectory before becoming CEO of FanDuel
Prior to joining FanDuel, Howe served as Director of Global Operations at Ticketmaster, carrying out the transformation and modernization of the group’s platform. And before that, she worked as a partner at McKinsey & Company, advising clients in the Media and Entertainment, Retail and Consumer Goods sectors, as well as areas such as growth strategy and commercial and operational excellence.

Amy Howe also spoke after taking office: “I am delighted to be named CEO of FanDuel at such an exciting time. Since joining the business, I have been very impressed with the quality of our team and the strategic advantages we enjoy in terms of brand reach, product quality and extensive experience.”
FanDuel’s new CEO concluded: “That said, we must avoid complacency and stay focused on executing our long-term strategy to add even more value to the business. I look forward to working with Peter and the entire team to drive FanDuel’s success.”
