Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) reported revenue of €22.1 million ($26.6 million) for the second quarter of 2022, an increase of 37% on the prior-year period.
Adjusted EBITDA rose 47% to €8.3 million, with the group posting a positive net income of €1.3 million, and positive cash flow from operations of €9.5 million.
GiG Media’s revenues reached an all-time high of €14.8 million, up 35% year-on-year, and a record adjusted EBITDA of €7 million. Platform & Sportsbook revenues rose 43% to €7.3 million, with adjusted EBITDA of €1.3 million.
GiG listed many operational highlights for the period, including the acquisition of Sportnco on April 1, the partnership with retail operator Aspers in the UK, and the signing of an agreement with American brand Crab Sports to provide its solution platform. sports betting in Maryland.
The group added that the number of partner brands at the end of the quarter was 58. “The strong momentum we took forward in the second quarter and the exciting milestone of completing the acquisition of Sportnco on April 1st, positioned our business for continued growth. with increasing levels of profitability,” said GiG CEO Richard Brown.
GiG also listed many highlights after Q2 2022, including cooperation with Grupo Betsson in Colombia, an extension with Grupo Boldt in Latin America to two additional regulated markets for its Bplay brand, and the granting of a supplier license in Ontario, Canada.
The company added that three more brands have become partners so far in the third quarter of 2022, while July revenue was up 37% from the same month a year ago.
