BiS SiGMA Americas took place between the 14th and 18th of June and, once again, reaffirmed its position as the biggest betting event in South America. The conference was attended by major players and personalities from the betting sector, lotteries, casinos and even from the affiliation segment, such as Abelardo Dantas, Country Manager at Bet7K.
Abelardo gave an exclusive interview to iGaming Brazil, where he commented on the next steps for Cactus Gaming – the game development company of which he is a part – in the domestic market: “We are launching a division within the group focused on developing games that are more localized to reality of Brazil and Latin America”.
When asked about the regulation of sports betting, Abelardo defends a broader measure, including casinos and with fairer rates.
“If done correctly, including the casino and with fair fees…I believe it has good potential”, says Dantas. “With the license and regulation, new doors will be opened in channels to be explored for the acquisition of new customers”, he added.
