PayBrokers: Setting the Stage for International Merchants in Brazil

In October 2020, the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN) launched Pix – an instant payment system that allows merchants and Brazilian citizens to execute quick domestic monetary transactions without regulatory barriers.

Furthermore, the direct supervision of all transactions by the Central Bank makes Pix easy to use, as it allows its users to have a seamless and positive payment experience, regardless of their location or level of financial sophistication. Consequently, this led to financial inclusion and Brazil’s economic boom.

Facilitating international merchants with similar payment experiences through Pix and allowing Brazilians to buy from them tax-free is what PayBrokers, a payment gateway and payment service provider (PSP), does.

Its API is simple and effective, allowing foreign companies to instantly send and receive payments from Brazilian users, via Pix, in accordance with Central Bank rules.

In addition, end users have Brazil’s fastest withdrawal and cashout instant payment system at their fingertips.

The PayBrokers platform allows international merchants to withdraw and deposit funds via credit card or other payment methods without going through bureaucratic formalities.

It complies with strict global security standards and BACEN regulations, guaranteeing customers secure payment processes.

The stable platform, which operates in an integrated manner despite the frequent materialization of challenges such as the country’s financial instability, has drawn the attention of the sector.

Its flexibility to integrate additional payment-related technologies into its platform based on customer requirements ensures it can provide seamless payment experiences.

The company also facilitates transactions made in cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies to settle international payments where international customers face difficulties receiving funds from Brazil.

“Our solutions help international companies capture more of the rich Brazilian market without incurring massive transaction fees,” says Edson Lenzi, director of PayBrokers.

To ensure that foreign merchants and the Brazilian public are free from fraudulent activities and chargebacks in payment settlement, PayBrokers performs a system check to confirm your authenticity and identity. Their expertise in fraud detection, dispute resolution and chargebacks resulted in 0.001% failed transactions.

Over 400 international merchants have adopted the PayBrokers API to process their payments in Brazil. One such example was a customer who had difficulties processing payments through Boolean, an electronic transfer system.

They improved their payment process by adopting PayBroker’s Pix, making it hassle-free and allowing the customer to earn profits within a year of implementation.

Gaming companies and international sports betting operators are the main customers who use PayBroker’s solution to make secure and easy payments.

Influenced by its huge success in the Brazilian market, PayBrokers is breaking new ground in the Latin American payments industry. The objective is to operate a payment institute that allows the Brazilian population to open accounts, allowing them to quickly carry out the payment process across borders.

The company will extend its roots to other Latin American countries, starting with Colombia, by the end of 2023.

PSP and payment gateway are making their mark by sponsoring Brazil’s favorite sport, football. With this, the company aims to communicate the reliability of the platform and its API to the vast population, as well as the benefits provided by using it for seamless payments.

Furthermore, its existing pool of 250,000 customers using the platform for personal transactions makes PayBrokers and Pix the right solutions for international companies to capitalize to tap into Brazil’s rich and growing economy.
