Swiss Formula 1 team Sauber is about to embark on a new journey with its rebrand as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber for the 2024 season.

This strategic change follows the departure of Alfa Romeo, the team’s former main sponsor.

The partnership with Stake evolves: From co-Sponsor to main

Stake, which joined as a co-sponsor in 2023, is now the team’s only main sponsor.

This partnership is not limited to just the name, but includes the exclusive naming rights of the operation.

The revolution doesn’t stop there.

That’s because Sauber also announced that the streaming platform Kick.com has acquired the naming rights to the car’s chassis for the following season, called the KICK Sauber C44.

Disruption in the world of Formula 1

While the partnership with Kick.com reflects Sauber’s innovative philosophy. Team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi emphasizes that Kick.com is redefining live streaming and plans to apply the same disruptive approach to Formula 1.

“With Kick.com, our goal is to take the next step in finding new and innovative ways to connect with our fans,” says Bravi.

Despite the reformulation, Sauber will maintain its driver duo for next season. Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will continue to represent the team, with both their contracts expiring at the end of the year.
