Bet7k, known for sponsoring the Volleyball Super League, launched a special initiative that covers the two finals of Brazil’s main volleyball championship.
With a focus on sustainability, the sports betting company, in collaboration with the Heatmap agency, distributed 9,000 ecocups to fans present at last Sunday’s clash.
The match was between Minas and Praia Clube and it is estimated that this action prevented the production of 126 kg of plastic waste.
Bet7k’s ecological actions transform the fans’ experience
The activation will also take place next weekend, at the same Geraldão gym, in Recife (PE). On the day, the men’s final will be held between Sesi Bauru and Vôlei Renata.
Therefore, with the finals being played in single games, one from the women’s Bet7 Superliga and the other from the men’s Bet7k Superliga, the company assessed the positive impact of the action on the environment.
According to a study carried out by the company, each fan consumes, on average, two seven-gram disposable cups, generating 14 grams of plastic waste per person.
So, in total, 18 thousand fans are expected to pass through the gym on the 21st and 28th. Therefore, the action should avoid the generation of 252 kg of plastic waste.
“It is very important to create this relationship between the brand and volleyball fans through actions. There will be two decisions of great appeal, the gym will be full and we will have the opportunity to make the show even more attractive. Therefore, they will be interactions focused on entertainment, conversion of new customers but also with a sustainability bias”, says Rene Salviano, CEO of Heatmap.

In addition to the activation focused on reducing environmental pollution, Bet7k, in partnership with Heatmap, has carried out other actions on the most important dates in the national volleyball calendar. Among them are:
- Delivery of personalized “ace” and “wall” signs to fans
- Distribution of cups with QR Code
- Draw for balls autographed by the finalists
- Invitations to play teqvoly
- Fastest serve challenge on the court.
