Brazil’s final stretch of federal online betting license requests is being marked by a series of new additions. To date, the Prizes and Betting Secretariat (SPA) through the Betting Management System (SIGAP) has recorded 62 requests from companies interested in operating in the growing Brazilian market.
The list of new orders includes the following players: Track Gaming Brasil (Betwarrior), Sortenabet, Bell Ventures Digital, Brilliant Gaming, Foggo Entertainmet, Ana Gaming Brasil, TQJ-PAR Participações, 7MBR, UPBet Brasil, Enseada Serviços e Tecnologia Ltda, Alfa Entertainment, BetBet, Select Operations and BPX Bets Sports Group Ltda (VaideBet, BetPix365, ObaBet).
It is worth noting that these requests are being made within the initial period of 90 days defined by the SPA of the Ministry of Finance, ensuring priority candidates for the license, with the expectation of receiving approval by January 1, 2025.
This initiative comes as Brazil’s online gaming sector prepares for a comprehensive market launch following the publication of the latest regulatory ordinances.
