Atlético-MG has just closed a historic agreement that will catapult it to the top of the ranking of master sponsorships in Brazilian football. Galo, which previously occupied 13th place with a contract worth R$18 million per year with Betano, is now preparing for an impressive leap, taking fourth place with a new sponsorship estimated at R$60 million per year.
This new agreement represents a substantial increase in the investment received by the club, consolidating its position among the main forces in national football.
Negotiation conducted in secrecy by Atlético-MG
The negotiation, conducted confidentially by Atlético-MG, resulted in an exclusive contract with the new sponsoring brand. According to CNN, Galo’s new partner does not have any other current agreement with football clubs in Brazil, demonstrating the trust and interest placed in the Atletico project.
The expectation is that the official announcement will take place in the next few days, revealing the identity of the company that will print its brand on the black and white shirt.
Thanks to the new sponsorship, Atlético-MG will surpass nationally renowned clubs. Among them, São Paulo (Superbet), Vasco (Betfair), Cruzeiro (Betfair), Fluminense (Superbet), Grêmio (Banrisul) and Internacional (Banrisul) stand out.
